Visages, Villages è il titolo del mio progetto fotografico che ricerca le radici dell'identità parigina e del multiculturalismo attraverso l'esplorazione dei mercatini dell'antiquariato e delle vetrine d'arte.

 A Parigi, città che da sempre mi accoglie e mi rivela suggestioni nuove, si possono scovare combinazioni casuali di oggetti stravaganti  dai toni fiabeschi e magici che sono disseminati in tutta la città. 

Ma l'ambizione del progetto è di mostrare la  Parigi vibrante e moderna che conserva ancora gelosamente  la libertà di espressione e il gusto per l'antico.

Attraverso la fotografia esploro i volti e le personalità che compongono la variegata popolazione della città e le storie che si celano dietro agli oggetti antichi e vintage che riempiono i mercati e le mostre d'arte della città.

Uno degli aspetti più sorprendenti di Parigi è il modo in cui antico e nuovo, tradizionale e moderno coesistono in perfetta armonia. 

Nei vivaci mercati e nelle luminose gallerie, si combinano in modo affascinante oggetti  dal design non convenzionale, dove il passato e il presente echeggiano all'unisono: dai mobili antichi , alle audaci installazioni d'arte moderna, si manifesta un aspetto della città che pur essendo  in continua evoluzione rimane fedele al suo passato e alla sua Storia.

Visages, Villages is the title of my photographic project which researches the roots of Parisian identity and multiculturalism through the exploration of antique markets and art showcases. 

 In Paris, a city that has always welcomed me and revealed new suggestions to me, one can find random combinations of extravagant objects with fairy-tale and magical tones that are scattered throughout the city. 

But the ambition of the project is to show the vibrant and modern Paris that still jealously preserves the freedom of expression and the taste for the ancient. Through photography I explore the faces and personalities that make up the city's diverse population and the stories behind the antique and vintage objects that fill the city's markets and art exhibitions. 

One of the most striking aspects of Paris is the way old and new, traditional and modern coexist in perfect harmony. 

In the lively markets and bright galleries, objects of unconventional design are combined in a fascinating way, where the past and the present echo in unison: from antique furniture to bold modern art installations, an aspect of the city is manifested that being in continuous evolution it remains faithful to its past and its history.
